Australian Pelican
The Australian Pelican Pelecanus conspicillatus, is quite common
in Melbourne as well a the rest of Australia.
A good spot to see Pelicans up close is at Hastings beach, near the
pier. They can usually be found at most lakes and wetlands throughout the
Melbourne metropolitan area.
